An early Swiss 18 carat gold quarter repeating hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1870. 18”’ Jeweled gilt lever movement, repeating on two hammers. 18 Carat gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Milled band, hinged case back centered by small engraved medallion. Cuvette signed and numbered, case numbered. With an Extract from the Archives confirming sale on August 25th, 1871.
