A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1888. Manual winding jewelled nickel lever movement, cut bimetallic compensation balance. 18 Carat gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer minute track and subsidiary seconds. Front cover case engraved with stylized monogram ‘CA’ on engine turned background, back cover with engraved coat of arms with motto Libertad. Case, dial, movement and cuvette signed. With an extract from the Archives confirming sale on September 30th 1890.
