A hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch made for Tiffany & Co in New York, U.S.A., probably by Patek Philippe in Geneva, Switzerland, circa 1888. The numbered plain case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat pink gold. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The very fine quality movement has Geneva striping decoration and is fitted with a precision lever escapement.
Case and movement have matching numbers, and the case, dial and movement are signed.
