A small French 18 carat rose gold, enamel and diamond set open faced key wound pocket watch made by Jean-Antoine Lépine in Paris, circa 1800. The movement with a verge escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and gilt hands. The case with rose cut diamond set bezels and a polychrome enamel scene on the back. Movement numbered. Comes with the original key and a watch chain.
