A magnificent Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel pendant watch with associated golden miniature chatelaine made by Vacheron in Geneva, circa 1870. The movement is fitted with a cylinder escapement and crown winding. The particularly fine white enamel dial has Roman hours, an outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, outermost polychrome enamel floral decoration and unusual rose gold arrow hands. The richly engraved case features black enamel details on both sides and a central vacant cartouche on the back. The cuvette is engraved with technical details, signed and numbered.
