A heavy Swiss 14 carat gold hunting cased anker chronometer pocket watch with chronograph made by Agassiz Watch Co. S.A. in Geneva, circa 1910. An engine turned case of exceptional quality with plain stepped bezels and ribbed band, the inside front cover with a personal Italian inscription dated 1910. The cuvette is engraved Orologeria Fontana Palermo. Signed white enamel dial with radial Roman hours, an outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals, outermost fifth of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel moon hands. Signed, glazed high quality anker chronometer movement and fine adjustment. Case and movement with matching numbers.
