A very fine and elegant Swiss, keyless, 18K yellow gold lady’s pendant watch, circa 1880. The case is entirely engraved with scrolls, the front cover with glazed aperture, radial black enamel Roman numerals, and an inner minute track. Hinged glazed gold-rimmed cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed Tiffany & Co., New York.
