After the company Louis Audemars & Fils went into administration, the two sons of Charles-Henri Audemars, Hector and Charles-Henri founded the Swiss watch manufactory Audemars Frères in Geneva and Le Brassus. The timepieces they produced were of supreme quality. Audemars Frères was initially very successful but had to close down in 1909 because of an unpaid bill.
