Pink gold watch with engraved monogram

A Swiss 18 Carat pink gold keyless pocket watch with a chronograph and thirty minute instantaneous register, circa 1880. A massive, polished case, the back cover with engraved foliate monogram, and a co axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette, glazed gold-rimmed cover over the movement. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with Arabic five-minute numerals, outermost fifths of a second chronograph division calibrated to 300 units, subsidiary seconds, thirty minute register and gold Louis XV hands. A matte gilt movement, 19 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, alloy Breguet balance spring, index regulator, and chronograph with visible work. Case and movement signed.
