Gold hunter with rare bow

A rare Swiss 18 carat gold quarter repeating hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1880. A polished case with a hinged bow. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the technical details. White enamel dial with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and gold faceted stone-set hands. Nickel plated movement, 25 jewels, the upper ones in screwed gold chatons, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Cuvette engraved “Genève”.
