Gold lever watch with chronograph

A very fine and large Swiss 18k yellow gold, hunting cased, keyless, minute repeating, a pocket watch with chronograph, circa 1890. Engine-turned covers, front with a monogram, polished band, gold hinged cuvette with inscription. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute and outermost chronograph divisions, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Gold spade hands. A nickel movement, Geneva striping decoration, 31 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
