A rare Swiss, 18K pink gold and yellow gold keyless pocket watch with an unusual dial, circa 1918. A yellow gold cast laurel and berry decorated bezel, hinged gold cuvette. Frosted gilt dial with radial blue Arabic numerals on circular white enamel reserves intersected, outer white enamel minute track, subsidiary seconds, gilt engine turned centre. Blued steel fleur-de-lys hands. A frosted gilt movement, 15 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
