Gold open faced lever watch
–
A probably unique pocket watch in the original presentation box made by Patek, Philippe & Cie in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1907. The numbered, solid, textured case of this watch, crafted from 18 carat gold, has high relief decoration on the back lid with translucent red enamel details. The white enamel dial has black Arabic hour markers, outer minute divisions, an outermost ring with red Arabic five minute numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The exquisite Patek Philippe movement has a precision lever escapement and Geneva striping decoration.
The cuvette and movement are numbered, and the dial and movement are signed.
