Gold flat full hunter cased watch
–
A very fine, flat hunting cased anker chronometer in an old leather pouch made by Patek, Philippe & Cie in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1916. The numbered watch, which was crafted from 18 carat gold, has a cuvette with a dedication in Swedish, reading Filip Lindahl på 50 årsdagen av vännen Dan Broström (Filip Lindahl on the 50th anniversary of his friend Dan Broström). The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The numbered movement has a Patek Philippe anker chronometer escapement of the finest quality with Geneva striping decoration, fine adjusting device and a large chronometer balance.
The dial is signed.
