Pocket Watch with precision lever escapement
–
A very fine gold Art Deco dress watch with precision lever escapement, made by Patek, Philippe & Cie in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1930. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and the original silvered dial features an enamelled outer minutes track, gold Arabic numerals for 3, 9 and 12 o’clock, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and probably original gold Dauphiné hands. The numbered movement is fitted with an exquisite Patek, Philippe precision lever escapement, a patented fine adjusting device, 15 jewels, a moustache lever, wolf’s toothing, and Geneva striping decoration.
The case, dial and movement are signed.
