A heavy astronomical full hunter cased pocket watch with quarter repeater made by A. Golay-Leresche & Fils in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1890. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, a dial for the months of the year at 3 o’clock, subsidiary seconds with concentric phases of the moon at 6, a day of the week dial at 9, a dial for the date at 12 and black hands. The glazed movement has a Geneva precision lever escapement in top quality and repeats the hours and quarter hours.
The cuvette is signed and numbered.
