A fine chronograph counter with anker chronometer escapement and minute repeater, made in Switzerland, circa 1890. The numbered open faced case of this watch, which was crafted from 18 carat gold, has a monogram on the back lid. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a thirty minute counter dial at 12 o’clock and blued steel hands. The precision lever movement features an exceptionally large balance, a highly complicated anchor chronometer escapement, a chronograph, a thirty-minute counter, and a minute repeater.
