Extremely rare watch for the Federal Shooting Festival Aarau

An extremely rare marksman’s watch, made for the Federal Shooting Festival Aarau by Ulysse Nardin SA in le Locle, Switzerland, circa 1924. This watch features a case crafted from 18 carat gold, with a high relief back lid depicting a Marksman made by Huguenin Frères and a cuvette inscribed “Eidgenössisches Schützenfest, 1924 Aarau, Tir Fédéral” (Federal Shooting Festival). The white enamel dial features an outer minute and 24 hour track with black Arabic numerals for the 1–12 hour display and blue Arabic numerals for the 13–24 hour display, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued Breguet steel hands. The chronometer movement is equipped with a lever escapement and a fine adjusting device.
The dial, movement and high relief back lid are signed.
