Gold lever with split-seconds chronograph and register

A very rare Swiss 18 Carat yellow gold minute repeating keyless pocket watch, circa 1924. With split-seconds chronograph and register and sold on November 19th, 1926. A solid, polished case, the back cover with a blue and red champlevé enamel monogram, a co axial button in the crown for the start/stop chronograph function, a curved rectangular pusher on the band for the split-seconds function, a locking bolt at 11 o’clock, concealed hinge and a hinged gold cuvette.

Matte gilded dial with black champlevé Paris numerals, outer minute and 1/5 seconds track with Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register and blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 40 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
