An elegant Swiss gold keyless men’s pocket watch with open face, circa 1924. This watch features a mechanical hand wound lever movement, signed and numbered. The white enamel dial, signed International Watch Company Schaffhausen, displays black and red Arabic numerals from 1 to 24, railway style minute divisions, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and golden Breguet style hands. The double 18 carat gold case is signed and engraved with the number 759399 and bears the presentation inscription: Herrn Fritz Amon in Anerkennung, der während 30 Jahren geleisteten treuen Dienste, Schweizerische Industrie-Gesellschaft, Neuhausen, März 1924. The case back is further engraved with the monogram AF. Accompanied by its original signed case, preserved in excellent condition.
