Especially heavy gold watch with Jacquemart automaton

An especially heavy gold full hunter cased watch with Jacquemart figure automaton, probably made by made by the Dimier Brothers & Co in Geneve, Switzerland, circa 1890. The numbered full hunter case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and is marked with the maker’s mark. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, an automaton with two gold knights in the center and gold hands. The movement is fitted with fine Swiss lever escapement, a quarter repeater, a Jacquemart figure automaton, Geneva Striping decoration and 28 rubis.
