Gold Chromomètre Royal

A heavy and very fine pocket chronometer, the Chronomètre Royal, made by Vacheron & Constantin in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1910. The numbered open faced case of this watch, which was crafted from 18 carat gold, has an engine turned back lid, and polished bezels, pendant and bow. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold spade hands. The numbered movement has a very fine quality Geneva chronometer escapement, the bridge is marked Chronomètre Royal.
The cuvette, dial and movement are signed.
