Gold heavy watch with LeCoultre caliber

A heavy hunting cased pocket watch with repeater made by LeCoultre in Le Sentier, Switzerland, circa 1890. This numbered watch has a case crafted from 18 carat gold with a monogram on the front lid and an engine turned back. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, Arabic five minutes, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The movement has a LeCoultre caliber, an exquisite Swiss precision lever escapement and wolf’s toothing, repeating the quarter hours.
The cuvette is signed.
