A very fine Swiss, hunting cased, keyless, 18K pale pink gold pocket watch with unusual dial and movement, circa 1892. A solid, polished case, hinged gold cuvette with inscription. White enamel dial with painted stylized Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Gold Breguet hands. Ostrich feather engraved movement, pink gold bridges on a frosted gilt and silver base plate, 19 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, Brandt & Hofmann’s micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
