A half hunter cased pocket watch with repeater and very fine movement, probably made by Louis Audemars in le Brassus, Switzerland, circa 1890. All lids of the water drop shaped case of this watch are crafted from 18 Carat gold. The white enamel dial has Arabic five minute- and Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock and blued steel hands. The very fine movement has wolf’s teeth, gold wheels, a presumably Louis Audemars caliber, a quarter hour repeater and a precision lever escapement.
