A dress watch of outstanding quality made by Vacheron & Constantin in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1946. The open faced numbered plain case of this watch is crafted from 18 carat gold, the gilt dial has baton hours, a Roman 12, 9 and 3, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and pink gold hands. The numbered movement has Geneva striping decoration and a lever escapement.
