A very rare Longines Art Deco dress watch with top quality Extra caliber and rare bi colour case, made by Longines in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, circa 1930. The numbered open faced case of this watch is crafted from 18 Carat yellow gold and the two tone Art Deco dial has Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock and blued steel Breguet hands. The numbered “Extra Quality” movement has a special adjustment, a golden gear train, 15 jewels and a lever escapement.
Case and movement have matching numbers and the dial and movement are signed.
