A Swiss silver and painted on enamel keyless pocket watch, circa 1920. The Eastern Maiden, retailed by Peter Hudaver, Bombay. A polished, knife edge case, the back with a painted on enamel, and a hinged silver cuvette. Matte silver dial with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel cathedral hands. Frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, cam micrometre regulator. Dial signed by the retailer.
