Gun metal watch with Roskopf escapement

A Swiss gun metal double faced pocket watch, made by Breveté Génie in the Neuchâtel Mountains, circa 1900. An open faced keyless winding pocket watch. Black enamel dial with radial Roman numerals I-XII, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and gilded metal Bell hands. On the other side, a white enamel dial with suspended Arabic numerals 1-24 and blued steel Spade hands. A gilded brass movement, going barrel, pin lever Roskopf escapement, monometallic balance and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index regulator. Signature on the dials.
