A large Swiss, gunmetal keyless pocket watch with a triple date calendar and moon phases, circa 1900. A hinged gunmetal cuvette. White enamel dial with bold radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week, months and seconds, aperture for the moon phases and gilt Louis XVI hands. Rhodium plated movement, wavy line decoration, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
