A heavy gold Swiss anchor chronometer watch with extremely rare movement in mint condition, circa 1875.
Anchor chronometer movement of extremely rare quality called Wilmot’s patent, usually equipped with a fine spiral adjustment, is the extremely rare heart shape with geneva stripes. Immaculately preserved signed enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and fine Breguet steel hands. Engine turned 18K gold à goutte case with factory glazing and cartouche with monogram. Case and movement with matching numbers 233. Dial and movement signed.
