A fine French 18K two-tone gold keyless lady’s pendant watch in the Louis XVI style with detachable matching chatelaine, circa 1900. A fully chased case with a scalloped rosette pattern of alternating applied green gold foliage and a hinged gold cuvette. Chatelaine: three links with matching decoration. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals and gold Louis XVI hands. A gilt brass movement, bar calibre, eight jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, cylinder escapement, plain brass balance, flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Cuvette signed, chatelaine punched JAM.
