A very fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold pocket watch, circa 1926. Sold on March 5th, 1937. A polished and brushed case, inclined stepped bezel, flat band, snap on back. Black dial with applied yellow gold baton indexes and Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12, outer painted gold minute track, subsidiary seconds and yellow gold dauphine hands. Rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, eighteen jewels, eight position adjustments, stamped with the seal of Geneva quality mark, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swanneck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
