A fine Swiss 18K yellow gold and enamel open faced keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Polished case, hinged back cover with engraved black enamel foliate pattern centred by a painted on enamel scene representing two children playing at the farm, the hinged front cover with a similar pattern, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, black painted Arabic numerals, gold outer minute track and gold hands. A gilt-brass movement, straight-line lever escapement, brass three-arm balance, wolf’s tooth winding, blued steel balance spring, index regulator.
