A Swiss golden men’s pocket watch from Geneva with an open face, circa 1880. This Patek Philippe watch features a mechanical movement with a cylinder escapement. It has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, a railway track for the minutes, a subsidiary dial for the seconds at 6 o’clock, and pear shaped hands, all framed by a grooved bezel. The 18 carat gold case features a spine decorated with foliated scrolls and a grooved border. The inner bowl is signed Patek Philippe & Co. Genève. It comes with its case, an extra glass, and a certificate of origin, guarantee dated 28/8/1880.
