A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced gentleman’s lever pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1919. Retailed by Beyer jewellers in Zürich. Comes with the original presentation box and an extract from the chronometer archives by Hidding. The polished case with a numbered and signed gold cuvette and push back. Two tone silvered dial with applied gold hour indexes, an outer minute track, auxiliary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold leaf hands. Rhodium plated Quality Extra bridge movement with Geneva striping decoration, eight adjustments, 23 jewels, the Geneva quality hallmark, a chatoned center wheel, Guillaume gold screw compensation balance, an index spring fine adjusting device and a counterpoised lever.
