A fine and rare Swiss, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch with two-train independent dead-seconds, circa 1890. A hinged, polished case, the engine-turned reverse with central raised monogram engraved monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost red Arabic five-minute numerals. Gold spade hands, steel seconds hand. A frosted gilt movement, two-train with tandem winding, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, stop/start independent seconds chronograph activated by the crown.
