A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1890, features keyless winding, a minute repeater, a triple date, a chronograph, and moon phases. The watch has a mechanical movement with a lever escapement, bimetallic balance wheel, and a blued steel Breguet balance spring. Its white enamel dial features painted Roman numerals, a railway track, and four subdials for the date, moon phases, small seconds, days of the week, and month. It has Louis XV style hands and a central second hand for the chronograph. The round case is hinged, with a smooth 18K yellow gold bowl, front, and back. It includes correctors, a locking latch, a push piece at 12 o’clock for the chronograph, and a slide at 6 o’clock for the repeater. The watch is wound by the pendant, has a repeater on demand, and a transparent caseback. Made in Switzerland and imported into France.
