A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced keyless lever watch with triple calendar and moon phases, circa 1890. 20-Jewel nickel finished movement with gold train, counterpoised escapement, bimetallic balance with overcoiled spring, index regulator, pin set, and decorative gold cuvette.
White enamel dial with Arabic minute numerals and Roman chapters, aperture for day, date and month, subsidiary seconds incorporating moon phase, gold pieced scroll hands within a plain gold case with calendar setting buttons around the band.
