A very fine Swiss 18K pink gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1880. A solid, polished case, gold-hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, 15 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding wheels, straight-line lever a moustache, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blue steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Case and cuvette signed.
