Gold minute repeating keyless pocket watch

A very fine and rare Swiss, 18K yellow gold, triple-complicated, astronomic, minute repeating, a keyless pocket watch, circa 1890. With a perpetual calendar, moon phases and split-seconds chronograph with 30- minute register. A solid, polished case, case back with a royal crown and the initials M.B.T. in white champlevé enamel, gold hinged cuvette, gold bolt at 2 o’clock to block the chronograph.

White enamel dial with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track with gold 5-minute/seconds Arabic markers, outermost 1/5th seconds track, four subsidiary sunk dials for the days of the week, date, months of the leap year cycle concentric with minute register, and subsidiary seconds concentric with the moon phase aperture. Gold Louis XV hands. A nickel movement, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, Geneva striping decoration, 40 jewels, straight-line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating on gongs by activating slide in the band. Dial and case signed movement and case number.
