An elegant 14K gold hunting cased Art Deco keyless dress watch, circa 1929. Made for the German market. The covers with a textured geometric design, a gadrooned band, an omega-shaped bow with laurel wreath decoration, hinged gold cuvette. Matte gilt dial, chapter ring with applied gold Dauphine numerals outer dot minute divisions, Arabic 13-24, engine-turned central field, subsidiary seconds and gold Breguet hands. A frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, and a micrometre regulator. Dial, case, and movement signed. This watch is sold with a box and certificate of authenticity.
