A fine Swiss, 18K gold, enamel and diamond-set hunting cased fob watch, circa 1870.
A textured finish case with deep blue enamel and diamond set cover (1 missing), enamel decorated reverse, signed and numbered gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel hands. Gilt brass movement, bar calibre with going barrel, lever escapement, compensated bimetallic balance, blued steel flat hairspring, index regulator. Cuvette signed, case numbered.
