Gold open faced lever pocket watch

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, made by Omega, circa 1912. This watch has a mechanical crown, manual wind movement with a lever escapement, a spiral balance spring, and an advance/delay adjustment regulator. It is signed and numbered. The silvered and sunburst guilloché dial displays painted blue stylised Arabic numerals for the hours, a railway minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel pear shaped hands. The watch features a round, solid gold open faced case on a hinge, a fluted crown, a decorative bow, a gold back cuvette, and a case back decorated with a radiating engine turned sunburst pattern and a vacant oval cartouche. It is accompanied by its original green textured Baggenstos Le Puy retailer presentation case with gilt embossed details.
