A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, made by Tavannes Watch Co., circa 1910-1930. This watch features a hand wound mechanical movement, signed and numbered on the plates. The silvered dial displays Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and elegant Breguet style hands in blued steel. The round 18 carat yellow gold case features a smooth polished bezel and a smooth case back. The watch is fitted with a signed yellow gold cuvette, also in 18 carat gold. The case, cuvette, and movement are all numbered. Accompanied by its original burgundy leather presentation case.
