A fine Swiss, 18K gold, hunting cased pocket watch with independent seconds and quarter repeater functions, circa 1890. A button near 12 for independent seconds, slide on case band for repeater function. Hinged gold cuvette over an exhibition back. White enamel dial with narrow radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium plated movement, straight-line lever escapement with antenna compensation, mono-colour split monometallic balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
