An early Swiss pocket watch with crown winding and particularly beautiful case, signed Pateck Genève, circa 1865.
18-Carat gold case with pressure points in the edge area, beautifully engine turned, and on the reverse beautiful engraved flowers and cartouche. Anchor chronometer movement with early crown winding. Enamel dial, signed Patent, Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and interesting brass and steel hands. Dust cover signed and numbered.
