–
An extremely fine and probably unique Art Déco, oversized, keyless-winding, Swiss dress watch with a three-tone 24-hour dial, circa 1938.
Rhodium-plated movement with going barrel, straight-line equilibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, and blued steel hairspring with a terminal curve. Three-tone, 24-hour silvered dial with Arabic numerals, outer minutes track, and gold Baton hands. Polished, round-shaped 18K yellow gold case.
Accompanied by the extract from the Archives. Case, dial and movement signed.

The Extract from the Archives, dated March 20, 2019, mentioned that this watch was sold on June 7, 1938. The Reference 624/1 seems to exist in only one example and was known by an Archive photography. This piece is the only known 24-hour watch made in the 1930s by Patek Philippe, following a few 24-hour « Cronômetro Gondolo » made approximately between 1905 and 1925, specifically for the Brazilian market.

Signed: Patek, Philippe & Cie, Genève
