A very fine and rare Swiss 22K gold keyless coin watch, circa 1938. Concealed in the United States Twenty Dollars coin dated 1904. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Retailed by Astrua, Torino and sold on March 15th, 1941. The coin opening with a push-piece concealed in the band, a hinged inner case with a polished bezel. Matte gilt dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and blued steel spade hands.
A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
