A heavy and large Swiss minute repeating hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph, full calendar and moon phase, circa 1897.
18 carat rose gold polished case with gold dome, glazed movement, pusher for chronograph at “2” and pusher for repeating mechanism at “6”. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, moon phase, window for weekday and month, subsidiary dial for date, blued spade hands and centre chronograph hand. 1/2 plate movement, frosted, gilt, “Patent 13244”, with polished and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, governor for repetition “patent 15833” and screw compensation balance.
